Supporting Darchelle
Eczema Expo
My whole life I have battled with a skin condition called Eczema. The women in my family all have this skin condition and growing up only a few of my peers had it as well. I thought that we were alone and that the only options for treatments were limited to steroids or constant injections until I found the National Eczema Association.
In the summer of 2022, I attended my first Eczema Expo, which was a time for “uniting people who have eczema, their caregivers, healthcare professionals, and industry ecz-perts — for four days of education, support, connection, and family fun.” I had finally found community, friends, and a family to learn, rant and heal with.
From learning about NEA and how they positively contribute to eczema patients through research and engagement, I decided to become an NEA Community Outreach Ambassador.
Because I am graduating with my Master’s on June 11th, my current job will no longer be available. I was hoping to have enough money saved up to carry my living costs and the costs to attend the expo as this was supposed to serve as my graduation trip. However, at this time it will be hard for me to support both without worry.
If you find the capacity to donate to my expo experience please feel free to donate through the button below. If you would rather support through other options, those are listed below as well.
Zelle: If you would prefer to contribute through Zelle, please privately message me through my business email. Particularly because it contains my personal information.
